Job Summary

Developing, drafting, and publishing electrical and controls construction documents for projects ranging from light commercial to heavy industrial. Position to serve an Electrical Drafter and ensure all company documents conform to customer specific standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily drawing service order requests to create new drawings and incorporate mark ups provided to revise existing drawings
  • Creating and maintaining company AutoCAD templates, details, and profiles
  • Plotting, scanning, and issuing of construction drawings
  • Train employees on software to keep efficiency levels high
  • Communication with customer database groups to ensure company deliverables are meeting expectations
  • General office administrative task (project archival, filing, scanning, etc.)

Skills/Qualifications

  • 1-2 years (min.) knowledge of AutoCAD 2010+
  • Working experience with plotters
  • Capable of drafting within various customer specific design standards
  • Must be willing to work frequent last-minute overtime rushed projects
  • Proficient in basic computer systems such as Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.
  • Position requires great organizational skills and self-motivator who can finish projects without direct supervision

Electrical Designer

Job Summary

Designing electrical, fire alarm, and security construction documents for projects ranging from light commercial to heavy industrial. Position to serve as Level II Electrical Designer and ensure all company documents conform to the National Electric Code and customer specific standards.

Responsibilities

  • Developing construction drawings based on provided scope of work
  • Take conceptual rough plan mark-ups and create final design documents
  • Completing power, lighting, HVAC, fire alarm, security, and grounding plans
  • Providing construction drawings which comply with applicable NFPA codes (specifically N.E.C.)
  • Perform calculations and utilize various software packages related to the design (IECC, photometric, short-circuit, voltage drop, load calculations, duct bank derating, arc flash)
  • Services during construction (RFI’s, Submittal Reviews, etc.)
  • Collaborating with engineers on design efforts from start to finish to ensure compliance with scope budget and schedule
  • Perform design reviews with customer to ensure the plans meet the project requirements
  • Assist in performing field surveys, documenting existing conditions, and/or recommending various design solutions

Skills/Qualifications

  • 3 years (min.) experience in electrical design
  • Proficient with AutoCAD
  • Good working knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations and the approval process
  • Capable of designing within various customer specific design standards
  • Must be willing to work frequent last minute overtime rushed projects

Job Summary

Perform field inspections of industrial instrumentation and control systems, confirm systems operate per specifications, identify and correct operating deficiency, works closely with installing contractors, engineers, and equipment vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing and calibrating process instrumentation
  • Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant process control systems
  • Assist in performing field surveys and documenting existing conditions

Skills/Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 year technical degree with a background in control systems, instrumentation, computer systems, and/or IT systems
  • Electrical and/or control system construction experience a plus
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills

Panel Shop Technician I

Job Summary

Assemble and wire Industrial Control Panels, Electro/Mechanical sub-assemblies, and/or major assemblies built to internal and/or customer specified quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Build industrial control panels to UL508A standards and customer drawings/specifications
  • Comply with company and industry safety standards
  • Work with company procurement personnel to place orders for panel shop materials
  • Support procurement personnel to track order materials with vendors
  • Receive, warehouse, and inventory materials
  • Support procurement with inventory audits and control
  • Maintain workspace cleanliness and organization

Skills/Qualifications

  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Associates in Electronics/Electrical (Preferred)
  • Field Tech Experience
  • Basic Electrical Knowledge
  • 1-2 years building electrical panels or electrical installations (Preferred)
  • 1-2 years installing parts, wiring, testing (Preferred)
  • 1-2 years of production or mechanical related experience (wiring of industrial components, basic fabrication, or mechanical assemblies) (Preferred)
  • Ability to read schematics and electrical wiring diagrams (Preferred)
  • General mechanical aptitude for the assembly process (Preferred)
  • Can identify panel components physically and on schematic Wire Terminals, Transformers, relays, timers, PLCs etc. (Preferred)
